Featured Speaker: Dr. Atif Kubursi
Dr. Kubursi is Professor Emeritus at McMaster University, and has also lectured and consulted at Purdue, Cambridge and Harvard. He has worked extensively with the United Nations Industrial Organization, serving as Senior Development Officer and as team leader of UNIDO missions to several countries. In 2006 he was appointed Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA). He has published extensively in the areas of macroeconomics, economic development strategies, and international trade.
