Join Cliff van der Linden for a talk that explores the findings of a major study of Canadian attitudes to COVID-19 and how they have changed since restrictions were initially imposed. This talk will be moderated by Jeremiah Hurley.

Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, McMaster University, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vox Pop Labs
Cliff van der Linden examines the implications of technology for both the practice and study of politics. His research explores the relationships between digital technologies and patterns of democratic participation. Outside academia, Cliff has founded and led numerous companies including Vox Pop Labs, a social enterprise best known for producing the application Vote Compass. Cliff has advised various governments on digital technology and public opinion research. He is also a regular media contributor on issues pertaining to elections and public policy.
Jeremiah Hurley
Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Professor, Department of Economics, McMaster University
Jeremiah Hurley began his tenure as dean of Social Sciences in 2015. He is a professor and former chair in the department of economics, a member of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis and a member of the department of health research methods, evidence
and impact.
